The right wing of the Museum, from the 1st to the 14th Gallery, gives us achronological overview of the History of Islamic Art (Gallery Nr. 1: Umayyads, Abbasids, Tulunids, Nr. 2, 3, 4: Fatimids, Nr. 5, 6, 7: Ayyubids, Nr. 8, 9, 10, 11: Mamluks, Nr. 11, 12, 13: Ottoman& Mohamed Ali period)
The Left wing of the Museum, presents thematic subjects and is displaying objects from other countries (Galleries Nr.14, coins& weapon, Nr. 15, 16: Eastern Islamic world, Nr. 17, 18, 19: Calligraphy, Nr. 20, 21: Textiles and Carpets, Nr. 22: Daily life, Nr. 23: Water and Gardens, Nr. 24 science, Nr. 25: Medicine)
